GE Inspection Robotics (formerly known as Alstom Inspection Robotics) is a joint venture between ALSTOM (Switzerland) Ltd and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. Established in 2006, the start-up company develops autonomous inspection robots for power plants, and chemical and petrochemical facilities.
