Coming up this October, the 1st HOIS World Conference for Digitalisation of Inspection and Asset Integrity in the Energy Industry: A 3-D Virtual Event. The event is being run as part of the Digitalisation initiative in the HOIS JIP and builds on the success of the HOIS Digitalisation Forum which was launched in early 2020 and held regularly since. It will bring together developers and practitioners in the Inspection and Integrity community to share progress on innovations in technology and methods as well as review practical applications, including the challenges to implementation and highlighting the benefits delivered. SPRINT Robotics Chairman Tjibbe Bouma is on the conference technical committee for this inaugural event. The two-day conference will address many key themes including digitalisation in support of inspection technologies, monitoring technology, predictive methods, simulation methods, digital workflow support tools, and applications and Case Studies such as upstream O&G, refining and downstream processing, and power generation.
